Memoria-Imaginación

In spite of having lived close the most part of our lives, it was just right after moving out far away from that place, that through virtually we contacted each other.

In our homeland, the individual experiences, the walked places, the developed interests, the beloved people, and some other things, were repeatedly the same. The common memory created the foundation over which we began to imagine the other one, as a way to complete our link. Over more than a year, the exchange merged memory-imagination crystallizing itself with this first physical encounter, from which this recording came up.

The music in it presents sonorous landscapes become of the conversations and walks around the Berlin-Brandenburg margins:

Dúo inspired and written during those days; Lo pienso en el camino II, composed around the curiosity about the conversations; in the middle, Vías, and in front of these train tracks a huge mountain of stones: throwing them into the iron lines was as inevitable as to remember the unshared childhood, and to feel like we were back then, except now we were together: we strove to, without criticism, change, invent, lose oneself and meet again...

With this little sonorous universe, we kept on with our dialogue, thinking about if there is something in between memory and imagination and what does it take to dissolve the continuity of a memory before it leads to the fantasy.

-------------------------------------------------

about

Emiliano Salvatore Berlin, Germany

Guitarist, composer and improviser.
His classical guitar studies showed him the smallest intricacies of the guitar world; his composition studies, the power of consciously organize sounds; the Folk music of his country, the love for captivating melodies; and Jimi Hendrix the wildest electric guitar sounds.
His music swings between all these elements, subtly combining them.
